ose Falooda is a rich and cold dessert which is layered with vermicelli, chilled milk, sabja seeds(basil seeds), Rose syrup and ice cream. It is a popular dessert in Indian subcontinent.
- 2 cups milk
- few drops Rose essence
- 1 tbsp Sabja seeds
- 1/2 cup Vermicelli
- fruits of your choice
- ice cream
How to make Rose Falooda at home
In a pan, bring water to boil. Add a handful of vermicelli and cook till done. Rinse and set aside
Add rose essence to the milk and refrigerate.
Soak sabja seeds in water for 10 – 15 mins.
Chop fruits of your choice. I used Apple and grapes.
I added Sabja seeds at the bottom and then comes the vermicelli.
Next comes milk, jelly and chopped fruits.
Finally topped with Ice cream and drizzled some rose essence over it..
- You can also add chopped nuts to the Falooda.
- Some people add sago to falooda and that is another version.
- Use fruits of your choice.
