  • 1/2 Inch Ginger Finely Chopped
  • 4-5 Garlic Cloves Finely Chopped
  • 2 Tablespoons Finely Chopped Onions
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Pepper Powder
  • Salt to Taste
  • Juice of Half a Lemon
  • 1 Tablespoon Red Chilli Paste
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Dark Soy Sauce
  • 1 Teaspoon Oil
  • 2 Tablespoons Plain Flour Maida
  • 2 Tablespoons Cornflour

Instructions

  • Mix the chicken lollipop pieces with finely chopped onions, ginger, garlic, green chili, pepper powder, salt, lemon juice, red chili paste, dark soy sauce, and oil.
  • Marinate for 1 hour.
  • After marination, add the plain flour (maida) and cornflour. Mix well and sprinkle very little water to help the mixture bind.
  • Wait for 10 minutes.
  • Pull the meat towards the end of the bone and rotate to form a lollipop shape.
  • Heat oil in a deep pan.
  • Carefully hold each piece for a few seconds in the hot oil before fully dropping it in. This helps maintain the lollipop shape.
  • Deep fry until golden brown and crispy.
