Ingredients
500gramsNattuKozhi
15Shallots
1Tomato
1tbspGinger garlic paste
2tspRed chilli powder
1/2tspTurmeric powder
2tspCoriander Powder

1/2tspMustard seeds
1/2tspSplit urad dal
1/4cupSesame oil
To Grind:
2tbspGrated coconut
2tspCoriander seeds
1tspFennel
1tspCumin
1/2tspPepper corns
6Shallots
3Red chillies
Instructions
Preparation:
In a pressure cooker, add chicken, add 1 tsp ginger garlic paste, ½ tsp red chili powder and ¼ tsp turmeric powder. Add 1 ½ cups of water and pressure cook for 3 whistles. Let the pressure release naturally.
Add 1 tsp oil in pan and roast all the items under “to grind”. Add coconut before switching off the flame.
Cool and grind to a fine paste.
How to make Nattu Kozhi Kulambu
In a pan add oil.
Once hot, add mustard seeds, split urad dal and fennel seeds.
Add shallots and curry leaves. Let onion turn golden
Now add turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder and salt.
