In a pan, add oil.
Once hot, add garlic and green chilies.
Now add onions. Cook till it turns golden. Remove to a serving plate.
In a wide bowl, add wheat flour, gram flour, salt, coriander leaves, carom seeds, cooked onions.
In a small pan, heat 2 tbsp of ghee and pour it to the flour mixture.
Knead well and form dough.Keep it covered with a wet cloth for 20 mins. Knead well. Form small balls out of it.
Meanwhile heat a Tawa.
In a banana leaf or plastic sheet, apply oil. Place the balls over it and press it with your fingers to make it flat.
Apply oil to your fingers as well to avoid sticking. Place this flattened dough over tawa.
Drizzle 1 tsp of oil over roti. Cook for 30 seconds on one side.
Flip and cook for 30 seconds.
Remove to a serving plate.
