Ingredients

  • 150 Grams Paneer (cottage cheese)
  • 1 Onion Cubed
  • 1 Bell Pepper Cubed
  • 2 Tomatoes Pureed
  • 2 Green Chillies finely chopped
  • 10 Cashew nuts Soaked in warm water
  • 1/4 tsp Red Chilli powder
  • 1 tsp Ginger garlic paste
  • 2 tsp Tomato Ketcup
  • 1 tsp Soya Sauce
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tbsp Honey
  • 3 tbsp Oil/ butter

Instructions

  • Cut paneer into small cubes. wash and Cut Onion, Bell pepper and Tomatoes into 1 inch cubes. Finely chop green chillies.
  • In a pan, add butter or Oil for shallow frying paneer. Fry paneer till golden brown on all sides. Remove paneer on a kitchen towel.
  • With the remaining oil in the pan, slightly cook Onion and bell pepper. Add ginger garlic paste and green chillies and saute for a while.
  • Now add Tomato puree, Chilli powder, cashew paste, soy sauce, tomato ketchup and salt. My gravy was thick, so I added little water. Cook for few minutes.
  • Add the fried Paneer to the gravy and let it come to boil.
  • Now mix honey with warm water and add it to the gravy.
  • Roast the sesame seeds in a pan. Add this to the gravy.
  • Garnish with Spring Onions or coriander leaves.
  • Serve hot with Chapathi or Roti!

Notes

  • If you want to make it Vegan, substitute tofu for Paneer.
