Chowchow Kootu

Sharing is caring!

Chowchow (also known as Chayote) is one vegetable which I cook very rare. My husband insisted me to make this chowchow Kootu. So I made this Kootu for him. Whenever you have meals for lunch at restaurants in Tamilnadu, you would definitely have this chowchow Kootu or pudalangai Poriyal in the plate. In this Kootu, I have used gram dal. You can even use Toor dal or moong dal instead. Lets get into the recipe.
