Garlic Paneer is a quick, delicious, and easy-to-make appetizer that features soft-textured paneer cubes infused with the bold flavors of garlic and red chilies. Whether you’re hosting a party or simply craving a spicy treat, this dish won’t disappoint

A simple and delicious garlic flavoured Paneer which can be served as a starter or along with ghee rice or Jeera rice. This Garlic paneer is hot, spicy and can be prepared under 20 mins.  I have not used any sauces in this recipe. You can also Chilli sauce, tomato ketchup to make it Chinese style. This way kids will love it too. Paneer lovers will love this recipe. You can also shallow fry the paneer before adding to the garlic sauce. Checkout the recipe with step by step pictures below. Garlic Paneer

An Indian Style Garlic Paneer Recipe which is a very good starter for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 200 Grams Paneer
  • 1 Onion finely chopped
  • 1 Tomato chopped
  • 10 Garlic
  • 1/2 tsp Ginger garlic paste
  • 1 tsp Red chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp Garam Masala
  • 1/2 tsp Roasted Jeera powder
  • Salt as required
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin / Jeera
  • 1 tsp Kasuri Methi
  • 2 tbsp Oil

Instructions

  • Cut paneer into small cubes.
  • Chop onion, tomato and garlic finely.
  • In a pan, add butter or oil.
  • Once hot, add jeera, finely chopped garlic and kasuri methi.
  • Let garlic turn golden.
  • Now add chopped Onion and cook till translucent.
  • Add red chilli powder, Jeera Powder and Garam Masala.
  • Now add Chopped Tomatoes and Salt. Cook till Oil separates.
  • It’s time to add cubed paneer. Mix well and cook or 3 -4 mins.
  • Switch off the flame and garnish with coriander leaves.

Notes

  • You can also shallow fry the paneer before adding to the garlic sauce.
  • You can also add Chilli sauce, tomato ketchup for making it indo-chinese.

How to make Garlic Paneer

  1. Cut paneer into small cubes.ingredients
  2. Chop onion, tomato and garlic finely.
  3. In a pan, add butter or oil.
  4. Once hot, add jeera, finely chopped garlic and kasuri methi. Let garlic turn golden.tempering
  5. Now add chopped Onion and cook till translucent.adding onion
  6. Add red chilli powder, Roasted Jeera Powder and Garam Masala. Fry for a min.adding spice powder
  7. Now add Chopped Tomatoes and Salt. Cook till Oil separates.add tomatoes
  8. It’s time to add cubed paneer. Mix well and cook or 3 -4  mins.add paneer
  9. Switch off the flame and garnish with coriander leaves.

Serving Ideas:

  • Serve with Jeera Rice or serve as a starter.
  • You can also wrap garlic paneer in a chapati and serve as a roll.
